Phil Rogers spricht mit Enthusiasmus über Gefäße, die er anregend findet. Obwohl dieser Film keine "Arbeitsanleitung" ist, sind die Szenen in denen Phil verschiedene Formen macht und dekoriert, höchst lehrreich und lohnen wiederholtes Betrachten. Der KeramikBildhauer Mo Jupp spricht über seine Faszination an der menschlichen Gestalt und seine "Neugier an dem Funktionieren der Beine". Die Form einer tönernen Pfeifenschale wird zur Inspiration für ein Kniegelenk.
Phil Rogers handles and talks about pots he finds inspiring, with obvious affection. Though this is not a "howto" film, the sequences of Phil making and decorating different shapes and commenting on his working methods is most instructive and rewards repeated viewing.
The ceramic sculptor Mo Jupp talks about his fascination with the human figure, and his "curiosity about how legs work". The shape of a clay pipe bowl becomes the inspiration for a knee joint.

Nach dem Betrachten des Bandes hatte ich wirklich das Gefühl die beiden Töpfer besucht und viel von ihrem Enthusiasmus gelernt zu haben. Das einzige, was ich überhaupt zu kritisieren hätte, ist die zweitrangige Rolle, die Sheila Casson in dem Video spielt von ihr hätte ich gerne mehr gesehen und gehört. {Ceramic Review}

This second video in the series takes the form of a visit to Mick and Sheila Casson at Wobage Farm in Herefordshire. We see both potters at work and we listen to them as they explain and comment on thinking that lies behind their making.
After looking at this video I really felt I had visited the potters and learnt much from their enthusiasm for their work. If I have any criticism at all it is that I would have liked to have seen more and heard more of Sheila Casson who on the whole emerged as a rather shadowy figure. {Ceramic Review}
